Baby Camille

This sweet, little, dimpled, red head has us completely smitten. What an incredible blessing she is!

I cannot believe today marks one week since this sweet girl was born. Ohh…. that’s a fun story! I’ll write and share it soon. For now, I believe the world deserves to see a bit more of our baby girl…

First… that hair! There’s not much of it – so it’s hard to capture the color on camera… but in certain light it is RED. In other light, it’s more strawberry.

What do you think? My dad’s mom had red hair and my dad has some red in his beard. Jason also has a bit of red in his beard. So, it’s not a complete shock that she has red hair, but it was still not something we expected – just like we didn’t expect her to be a girl! I have a feeling this one will be full of surprises. 🙂

We took her home from the hospital in the same onesie her brother wore just 16 months before…

It says “a Frey & Fortin production” – so cute, right? We got it here.

And I couldn’t resist sharing another comparison shot of the going home look – in the same car seat…

Kenton looks like a chunky giant next to her – doesn’t he?! Oh, what a difference a pound makes. He was 8 lbs, 13 oz and she was 7 lbs, 12 oz.

Speaking of Kenton, he is adjusting well to his new role of big brother. The first time he met her, he stared at her for the longest time – just gazed and gazed. It was so sweet. We got it on video, but don’t have any photos. Here are some shots of their second encounter – equally as precious…

He constantly asks about “the beebee” and gets really upset if she cries. He did give her a good smack once, but that was an overly excited effort to point out her nose. Oopsies!

Overall, she’s doing great and I simply cannot get enough of this sweet little snuggle bug!

Thank you for all of your sweet well wishes. We’ll be back soon with more on this little angel and her special story. I promise I won’t wait a whole month to tell her birth story like last time!
