Happy Birthday to me!

Today’s mah birthday – and I’m going to party like it’s mah birfday, drink bacardi like it’s mah birfday – mmm, I love me some 50 Cent. Word.

Yes, I’m eating that baby for my birthday. Wouldn’t you?

When people (like my mom or Jason) ask me what I want for my birthday, I’m usually like, “Umm… a mani/pedi would be great?” Then, later, I’ll realize there really is something I need or want that I should have mentioned. So, this year, I kept a list when something caught my eye so I was prepped with that inevitable question came. I think my mom was surprised. She asked what I wanted and I sent her a LONG email! HA! Well… she asked.

Clearly, it’s not all for mah birfday, but just some fun things that I’m fancying (yes, that’s a word)…

Better Life Bag

Spoiler – I know I’m getting this! With two kiddos and one diaper bag, I’ve officially lost my real estate in the Petunia. I’ve been wanting a purse I can carry with my diaper bag. Something that criss-crosses my chest, is small but big enough for my wallet, iPhone and a few other necessities. I heard about Better Life Bags from someone (can’t remember who) on Instagram. I started following them and WOW I love these bags and the mission behind them. Check out their site for more info. I’m getting the Beverly and I’ll do a post after “she” arrives to let you know what I think!

Hobby Lobby gift card

Do I need to explain? Didn’t think so. Moving on…

Peek-a-boo highlights (Photo via this post from A Beautiful Mess)

I have a hair crush on Elsie from A Beautiful Mess. So, (spoiler alert!), I’m copying this look. Appointment is set for Friday. Yippee! I’ll post pics.

Zumba for Wii

We have a Wii. We have not used the Wii in over a year, maybe longer. We (this will not get old) are not gamers. However, on the glorious day that both kids are napping for an hour or so and I know I’m not going to make it to the gym, it’d be nice to get my sweat on. I’m really enjoying Zumba classes at the gym – so, why not for the Wii. Whee! Okay, I’ll stop.

DryBar gift card

Because sometimes you just have to pay someone to do what you never have time to do – wash and then blow dry your hair. I honestly cannot remember the last time I dried my own hair. No time for that kind of luxury these days. We shower at night, wet hair to bed – wake up with what you get. Long live the sock bun!

Wurth Organizing Consult

This is a bit much $$$-wise, but wouldn’t it be great to have someone come and tell you how to better organize your crapola?! Man, I need this!

Freshly Picked moccasins

Okay, so these would be for Camille, not me – but she’s basically my doll and clothes for her are SO FUN for me!

Ruby Love baby books

Another one for the kiddos, but really for me. I have not started a baby book yet for either child. I am SO BEHIND. My super creative friend, Steph, recommends these Ruby Love books – the ones shown above are the ones she did for her girls. I need to GET ON THIS!

Obviously… I’m not getting all of this for my birthday. It’s just a fun list of things that have caught my eye lately. Mr. Dreamer, feel free to tuck these ideas away for another holiday… say, Valentine’s Day? 😉
