Camille: Month 11

Month ten brought a lot of fun new discoveries for our girl… including her first steps! She’s not walking on her own yet, but she likes to practice every chance she gets, which made this month’s photo shoot incredibly challening.

More on that in a minute. First… here’s this month’s photo!

The addition this month… a beret! That’s a pretty good hint about where she’s “going” for her first birthday in a few weeks. 😉

If you’re following along, we’ve been adding one item to each of Camille’s monthly photos – all hints to her final destination and theme for her first birthday party. Any guesses now?!

As you can see, we had to embrace the fact she would not lie still this month. So, we moved the whole “set” so she could sit. Which she was gracious enough to do for approximately .7 seconds – enough time to get one {1} usable shot. Hooray for mobility! Just kidding, I hate mobility… but Miss C lurrrrrves it…

She tried crawling out of the shot…

She tried crying her way out… DRAMA!

She definitely tried walking out of the shot (or cruising). My assistant (AKA “Grandma”) had a tough time keeping up with her.

“Mwahaha! Photos my way or no way!”

Yet, somehow, we did manage to get a (slightly off-angle, yet still acceptable) onesie shot for this month…

No idea how that happened. We must have just worn her out. Surprisingly, her brother was NOWHERE near this difficult to shoot. Here’s they are side-by-side at the 11 month mark…

Yep, still definitely siblings. You can check out Kenton’s monthly photo journey here.

One thing’s for sure… after this photo session… the photographer (moi), the assistant (grandma) and the subject (DIVA) were all glad it was ovah!

TA DA!!! (little stinker)
