Camille: One Year

In honor of Camille’s 13 month birthday (which was Saturday), I thought we’d celebrate her 12 month birthday.

Wait. What?

Yeah, pretty pathetic attempt at explaining my belated post wrapping up her 12 month photo journey. I have no excuse, but here it is now.

We started off a year ago with just a wee babe in a diaper…

Each month we added a new item, a hint for her first birthday “destination”…

Finally, the remaining clue:

Now do you get it? Camille goes to Paris!

She’s not really going to Paris… but that was the theme of her first birthday party (more on that soon).

Her first year flew by like the Concorde over the Atlantic. It really is amazing how quickly they grow.

She is the sweetest nugget in the whole world. Want to see her go from birth to one year in just a few minutes? Check out this video I put together of highlights from her first year:

I did a similar for Kenton’s first and second birthdays. So, obviously, I’ve set a standard and I will be editing videos all night the night before their birthdays every year for the rest of my life. Yay! (eye-roll)

But, I love it.

I love you, baby girl.

You’ve made my life brighter and you light up every face that looks upon you. What a gift you are!

To your father…

To your grandparents (near and far):

And your big bro… when he isn’t trying to wrestle you…

We thank God for the gift of this sweet girl and can’t wait to see what the next year holds!
