Five Dreamy Years

Happy Anniversary to us!

Our fifth wedding anniversary was yesterday, January 20th.

We thought we’d be spending our fifth anniversary with our toes in the sand at our honeymoon spot… Cabo San Lucas.

But some mini-humans thwarted that plan.

Particularly this one…

Who? Me?

She still needs her momma every couple of hours or so. And that’s perfectly fine with us.

So, we went out to dinner instead while Meme and Pepe watched our wee ones.

That’s our pre-dinner drink – recreating our first date drinks… martini and cosmo. For the record, my palate has developed in the past 6.5 years (since our first date) and I now prefer a dirty martini. I got married and got dirty. YEAH BABY! 🙂

After dinner, we stopped by Walmart in what’s become a date night tradition…

… the diaper and milk run.

Jason asked if we’re where I thought we’d be five years into our adventure.

our first condo!

The answer is…

Nope. But I’m exactly where I want to be.
